President - David Sartori

Our Club has a long and proud history; being established in 1905, it is one of the oldest Tennis Clubs in the country. We are also one of the very few Melbourne based Clubs that maintains the long standing tradition of organised social tennis, which currently takes place every Sunday afternoon.
As a Club, we pride ourselves on both our competitive and social activities, while maintaining a strong sense of community. Often working closely with Tennis Victoria, local council and other local authorities, our Club is ideally placed to cater for members of all standards and a wide range of interests.

On behalf of the Committee, I welcome you to our Club and look forward to seeing you at the Club!

Vice President and Competition Secretary - Nadine Maloney

I have been a member of the Club since 2001 and a Committee member since 2008. My favourite aspect of the Club is post competition match glasses of champagne on the sunny Clubhouse, with team mates and opposition players alike. The Club has always had a number of characters and a real diversity of members - I think this inclusiveness is a real strength of the Hawthorn Tennis Club. As great as the tennis is, it's really about the members. I have been lucky enough to share a tennis court and a laugh with loads of wonderful people.

Secretary - Cath Mukhtar

I have been a member of HTC since 2006.  Our family joined the Club as it was attracted to the junior competition, the coaching staff and playing Sunday social tennis.  Since then, our family has been actively involved in all facets of the Club including playing summer and winter competition and the many organised social activities.  The greatest pleasure for me, as a Committee member, is being involved with projects which improve the Club and its facilities.
